Hi

I would like to see the pictures in the post

Spark Plug Replacement 2.3 Engine, beginner's guide

I understand that my profile does not allow me to see them(and probably never will as I am not great with engine stuff so will more than likely never reach my 5 posts to full member level). I have tried downloading the post as HTML but it does not contain the pictures..

The actual problem I have is that I ran very low and fuel and the engine started to cough and gasp, fortunately just as I passed a garage, however since then It sounds rough. I have put redex in the fuel(which I think may be making an improvement) but I would like to check the plugs(and perhaps introduce them to mr Redex!).I had a go today but I discovered that the plug opening was to narrow for my wrench attachement. So The pictures on the post listed above would be very useful.

What size wrench do I need?( I have an R reg with 2.3 DOHC)

How can I see the pictures

Yup, thats the one

Pity, because it seemed to be perfect(the text is good anyway but the pictures would have been a bonus)

So, that answers the picture problem...Is there any help with the wrench size.

cheers

The 16mm wrench worked fine, however I could only get 3 of the 4 plugs out, the last one(and I am now guessing that this may be the problem one) wouldn't budge. I have put WD40 down there and may have another go later.

any other tips for getting out difficult plugs?
